A Memorial Service for International Tennis Hall of Famer
Jack Kramer
will be held on Saturday, September 26. The Service will run from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., and will take place in Straus Stadium at the Los Angeles Tennis Center on the campus of UCLA.
Kramer died peacefully in his sleep after a battle with cancer on September 12 at age 88.
This Memorial Service will be an unforgettable and fitting way to honor an extraordinary individual, father, husband, and friend. In addition, acknowledge the rich life and many accomplishments of a great champion and leader.

Barry MacKay
along with members of the Kramer family.
Kramer led the US Davis Cup team to two titles, won the Wimbledon men’s singles title in 1947 and the United States Championships in 1946 and ’47. He was the No. 1 player in the world until 1954; served as a tireless promoter of tennis for more than 60 years, father of “Open Tennis;” founder of the ATP; television commentator; fundraiser; innovator; Tournament Director of the LA Tennis Open; and President of the Southern California Tennis Association.
