Three Americans have reached the final round of qualifying, meaning as many as 13 players from the US could participate in the 2009 tournament. Donald Young, Alex Bogomolov, Jr., and Ryan Sweeting will take part in the final round of qualifying.

Players have remained busy when not practicing. Mardy Fish headed to Anaheim on Saturday for the Angels game while Vince Spadea took in the Dodgers contest. Jesse Levine, meanwhile, is heading to dinner on the town this Sunday night, and has tweeted an invitation to his fans to find him at dinner, and he promises a reward.
