Monday, July 23 through Sunday, July 29 all military, veterans, and their families can receive free tickets for all day and evening sessions*.
Additionally, the SCTA will be sending care packages to service members who are deployed in Afghanistan as part of the Adopt-a-Unit effort. Join us on Sunday, July 29 for a special military appreciation celebration.
Adopt-a-unit: "Serving our Troops"
This year the Farmer’s Classic will be participating in the USTA Serves Adopt-A-Unit program which is designed to encourage tennis organizations and players to ‘adopt’ a unit deployed in Afghanistan by sending care packages and portable tennis equipment to the troops.
Fans can redeem one (1) free ticket per person by donating items valued at $15**. Offer valid Monday through Wednesday. You can bring any of the following items to redeem a free ticket:
Food/Drinks:
Beef jerky, Slim Jims, Sunflower seeds, Nuts, Granola Bars, Energy Bars, Gum, Candy (excluding chocolate), Oatmeal, Tuna (in foil bags), Powder drink mixes, Hot chocolate, Coffee, Dry snacks (pretzels, chips, etc.), Dry soup (ramen noodles, cup of soup, etc.), microwavable food (popcorn, easy mac, etc.)
Personal Items: Razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, toothbrush, body wash, face cleanser, shampoo, conditioner, baby wipes, lip balm, lotion, eye drops, band aids, first aid kits, bug spray
Other items: Pairs of athletic socks (tube or crew), portable fans, game cards, journals, reading books (soft cover only), batteries, DVD’s/Xbox/PS2 games (new or used), stationary, board games, hats/visors
